Nerdtacular

"I got a 92% on that exam, but just you wait, I'll do better next time." Ah, the plight of every nerd around the world. After spending many of my younger years trying to fit in (whatever that means), I have finally accepted and now pride myself on the fact that I am indeed a part of this group we call nerds. But what does this mean exactly? Well, for me school is a large part of it. Always trying to shape my brain, learn something new, or perfect a skill. However, there are also the benefits of Star Wars marathon weekends and now my newly discovered liking of Star Trek. For these, I feel no shame.
The question for me now that I have uncovered and accepted these things about myself is how I fit in to the "real world" as I begin my last year of undergraduate studies and move on to other things. I think a lot about the relationships I have developed in the past 3 years and how my life will continue to intertwine with other lives in the future. I also, of course, think of my plans for continuing education and of my future career. As you can probably tell already, I am quite the planner. However, I would say this comes from my constantly working brain and constant state of awareness rather than any kind of nerd classification.
So, I figure I will flesh these thoughts out in the digital world. This is my life, as I attempt to find out where I fit in with the rest of the world.
